Organic Cocktails Go Mainstream: Where to Find Them

Not too long ago, artisan drinks used to be fairly challenging to locate in restaurants and bars. These days, it's pretty easy to order cocktails made with organic distilled spirits and ingredients. For example, the Jasmine Kiss-tini made with SakeOne's Momukawa Ginjo Sake has been well-received at NYC's Pure Food and Wine raw food restaurant.

Here are more places across the U.S. that offer organic libations. So many exotic drinks, yet so little time to try them all. Whether it's happy hour, lunch, or dinner, let the fun times roll with these delicious concoctions.

Counter, an organic vegetarian bistro and bar in New York City, New York, has a Tie Me to the Bed Post made with lavender-rosemary infused vodka and cranberry.

Fish & Farm in San Francisco, Calif., offers the bestseller Bacon Drop, a flavorful apple-bacon infused Rain vodka elixir. If that's not enough, the nearby Clift Hotel serves a Cucumber Cooler with Crop Organic Vodka. And Elixir has a great Country Thyme with Square One vodka.

8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill of Beaver Creek, Colorado, serves drinks made with organic vodka, gin, and eau de vie from CapRock.

In the Chicago, Illinois area, El Jardin: Norte has a Presidente Margarita made with Casa Noble Organic Tequila (first USDA-certified organic tequila). Uncommon Ground offers a seasonal Tree-tini with infused ginger-honey Rain Organic Vodka. They also will plant a tree for each order!

Downward Dog of Corvallis, Oregon, serves up the Maestro's Apprentice that's made with Organic Nation Gin, Cointreau, Ouzo, and organic shade grown coffee beans.

Park 75 Restaurant at the Four Seasons of Atlanta, Georgia, just launched their refreshing Going Green made with Tru Organic lemon vodka, organic cucumber, and honeydew juice.
