You have not had real hot chocolate until you go to Naked Chocolate in Philadelphia. It is "real", thick chocolate, like drinking a candy bar. An exquisite experience to be relished slowly. Not this thin watery, powdery stuff that everyone likes to think of as hot chocolate. I would consider the three hour drive just to get one.

The Best the most Delicious and out of this world cup of "Hot Chocolate" was in a littly place in the Andes-Cusco, behind the Hotel Monasterio.

The best hot chocolate I have had is served at a little coffee bar called "La Petite Cafe". It is located in Maryland General Hospital here in Baltimore. They also have some great frozen hot chocolate and the chocolate mint frappes are to die for! Not literally, but ya'll know what I mean. The chocolate muffins go great with the hot chocolate. It's a chocolate overload, but well worth it. If you are ever in Baltimore, it is worth a check out. It is run by a young married couple, and they are there every day. Very nice people, who know all their customers.

I think White Castle has the best hot chocolate. I see it out when on the road! Be careful though...it is extremely hot at first...wait about 5 minutes before drinking!

I don't think you'll be bothered by snow in Hawaii unless you plan on climbing into the Volcano Mauna Kea in which case you probably won't need the hot chocoloate.

the best is made at home with that recipe on the side of Hershey's cocoa,. I make it almost every day for my family. it is healthy because Cocoa is the best way to get the antioxidants in chocolate.

I am sick and tired of folks leaving comments about just how well they are doing with their online businesses that they found somewhere or a "friend" told them about. If they would be doing so well, then why do they need to put their crappy ads online to pull in some other poor sucker? (This is how they make their money! So is this really such a good deal?!!!) Any "job opportunity" that requires ANY "investment" or "downpayment" or any such amount of money by any other name is a SCAM! Just someone making money of your misfortune!
You can weed out a lot of that by simply reading the smallprint (yes, there actually is smallprint online, too...lol!, usually on the bottom somewhere, read the text "Terms", "About Us", or any other link offered FIRST! Educate yourself about who is offering an "opportunity", Google them!
And don't put more money into their pockets, but put them out of business!

I have to agree with MLJPatriot, that recipe on the side of Hershey's cocoa is hard to beat...as are most on the side panel or back panel of the cocoa containers. And you can change it up a little by adding a little vanilla flavoring, or a little cinnamon, or even a little cayenne pepper for a mexican style! Add marschmallows, or any type of whipped topping/cream for a more decadent cup of hot cocoa!
Instead of using sugar, use equal or any type sweetener or even use a few caramels for sweetening the cocoa and a little different "twist"! Even a few crushed mints can be used for a sweetener and it adds a nice minty flavor! Just use your imagination and enjoy (a friend of mine adds a little raspberry flavoring or banana flavoring to it, the kind you find at your grocer's and that you can use for baking, and "swears by it"...lol - or "hop" online and "hunt" for any flavor you may like)!
