America loves a good musical revue -- so much so that this street in San Francisco, which used to be named Columbus Avenue, was renamed for one.

Beach Blanket Babylon is the longest running musical revue in the country and it's been playing San Fran since 1974. In honor of the show, the city renamed the street that crossed Powell Street as Beach Blanket Babylon Boulevard. It's certainly a mouth full for anyone living along this stretch.

Ever since the street names were switched out, this street sign has been caught on film quite a bit. It's certainly quite the tourist attraction in San Francisco but the musical revue itself has been traveling to other countries on several different tours. People all over the world have had the opportunity to enjoy the show.
