Perhaps you were too busy entertaining your Valentine or getting in some three-day weekend traveling these past few days to remember that the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show kicked off yesterday at Madison Square Garden. Every year, the Westminster Kennel Club gathers at Madison Square Garden to judge the best of the best beautiful purebred dogs. And they'll be meeting once again this Monday to choose the next big thing in dog show history. 
The best part? You can get in on the action this year by voting for your favorite local pooch! Pick a hometown hero, local dogs whose photos have been submitted by their owners to compete in this online competition. And while you can't submit pics of your dog for voting anymore, you can still get a cute photo of your dog into one of the online photo galleries.
